I'm Alessandro Criscuolo, a photographer. I live and work in Palermo. I have been taking photographs for many years [TO VERIFY: starting year]: reportage, portraits, nature, long exposures. Today reportage is at the heart of my work: stories of people, of places, of nature. In recent years I have moved towards black and white, the part of my work that feels most my own, but I tell a story in colour when it calls for it. For me, photographing means catching the fragments of time that time itself gives up in its continuous flow. I don't care for poses: I care for what reflects the reality of the moment.
